Where does the time go?

We got a new computer so I was moving picture files to the new computer. I didn't realize how fun (and sad!) it would be looking at pictures from even three years ago.

There was one of Demy that I thought was Sache until I looked at the date. I didn't realize that they looked that similar until I saw the picture.

The ones that really got me were Sache's baby pictures. She is such a little girl now it seems like so long ago that she was that little but somehow it was just yesterday. I found a few where I finally was able to see similarities between her cute little face and Fischers.

Our visit to North Dakota

Our visit started with a picnic with Grandma Judy's side of the family. It was nice to visit with some people that I hadn't seen for many years. Sache had fun playing with cousins she hadn't met before.



We also had a good time enjoying the beach at the cabin. It was beautiful this year. There was so much sand that Sache and Auntie Tina were going to build a sand castle. But Sache ditched the effort and just started scraping the sand while Auntie built the castle.





On our way back we hit a really bad hailstorm. After about 10-15 minutes of hail it looked like it had snowed. It was scary!
